Notable for being the first Jackie Chan filmed in English, it is set in Australia. This means lots of Australian actors (including Gaby from Neighbours) who are so hammy that the bad guys come across as goons and there's no sense of danger at all. Since most of the film involves Jackie being chased by said goons this is a big drawback. There are good moments in it, like a fight on a horsedrawn carriage, a chase through a mall and a strange scene where Jackie is trussed up in rubber cords, but overall this film is below par. A lot of the time (like during a fight in the back of a van) it's hard to see what's going on, which also detracts from the enjoyment. On the other hand if a redhead running around in her underwear sounds like your sort of thing then this film will satisfy in that department. There's also an unusual cameo from Samo Hung (pre-Martial Law perm), who's also the director, but he's unfortunately not in a fight scene.
Themetically there are a lot of similarities between this and Rumble in the Bronx, but the earlier film is superior.
