IN MEMORIAM
Of our dear husband and father, James Henry Mozingo, who departed
this life May 9, 1913, age 70 years, 4 months, 20 days. One long year
has passed since father left us, and many lonely and sad days we
spent. With the Psalmist we can say;" He shall not return to us, but
we shall go to him."
It is a sad thought that this sweet and blessed companionship is our
no more on earth. We are assured that the death is the crown of
life, and that the spirit that took its flight on that bright May
morn has gone to God who gave it and with father, "all is well."
He loved his church and the last time he attended we remembered his
favorite song was sung and how he tried to sing. Now he's singing
with loved ones in a happier world than this, for in his last hours
he would clap his hands and shout "Happy." His suffering nor sorrow
for God will wipe all tears from our eyes.

Father Dear can it be,
That we no more thy face shall see;
For many years thou hast been our guide.
But now with loved ones you sleep side by side.

But sadder yet then this will be,
In our home our vacant place to see,
It is almost more then we can bear,
To look upon that empty chair.

But fond hearts ease our wailing,
On lifes stormy billows we are sailing;
A few more years will waft us to shore.
Where we'll meet with father once more.

Farewell dear father, but just for a while.
What sorrow awaits us we cant't tell;
Let this prove neither a dread nor fear,
For Jesus our Savior is ever near.
