... I just got back from Alabama. ... I found many marriage licenses. The best I have so far is; Is Johnathan was married to Dorcus (Darkus on Marriage license to James Thurell) They had the following children:

Eliza
Married Ebenezer Snell Jan 30, 1854 in Henry County. She was young enough that she had to have Dorcus sign. She married Chapman Best Jun 15, 1856, in Henry County. She died Oct 8, 1907

Elizabeth
Married Anderson Watson June 14, 1848. She died in childbirth in 1850. He later married Catherine Cutchen and Rebecca Boyd

Mary Jane
Born Feb 7, 1825 Henry County Married James Washington Parrish Jan 3, 1844 Henry County Died Oct 8, 1912

Mariah
Born 1836 Married Thomas Walker Died Dec 4, 1901, Bristol, Fl

Martha Ann
Born Sep 5, 1827, Echo Alabama Married Easom Watson Married Isham Snell Jan 6, 1850, Henry County Died Jan 28, 1913, Houston County

The genealogies I have read all say that Johnathan Died in Dallas County Alabama, I question this as all of the daughters that we can get birth places on were born in Dale County, and the marriage licenses were from Henry County. But I am still looking. They had a lot of spelling problems (Massgo, Morning, Mirongo, Meringo) If Sammy can Add or want More let me know. I have been off for a while due to the death of my father. He was married to Dorcas SKINNER (daughter of Nathan SKINNER and Esther (Wife of Nathan Skinner)). Dorcas SKINNER was born in 1796 in Darlington, South Carolina
