.... My uncle and his daughters husband had this and they say a geneologist came up with this several years ago but to me the ages just do not match up. Anyway, here is what I have and you will see why I have trouble believing some of it.

Preston F here is supposed to be my grandfather but in actuallity his name is William Preston Masingo. Also the time frame doesn't seem right. Martha Norton supposedly married Fielding ( Phillip) Mozingo but he would have been 79 when Preston F was born. On the other hand Fielding's 3rd son had a child by the name of Press, which is what they called my Grandfather but we have no records to substantiate this. I know my father grew up in the Middlesboro, Ky area which sits on the border of Tennessee. LaFolliet and Fonde were towns I remember my father talking about. I know he worked the mines in this area and he quit school in the 4th grade and went to work because his father passed. William Preston married my grandmother, Ella Thelma Goldsmith in 1920 and the had 10 children all born in the Middlesboro, LaFolliet area. ... David Wayne Masingo.
