Notes for Winney MOZINGO:

1790 NEWBERN DISTRICT, BEAUFORT COUNTY, NC. Mezingo, Pierse - Free white males of 16 years and upward, including heads of families: 1 (Pearce)(b before 1774); Free white males under 16 years: 2 (b 1774-1790)(William & Edward); Free white females, including heads of families: 8 (Wife, Winifred?, Hannah?, Sarah?, Nancy?, Rebecca?, Elvy?, ?).

1810 Lenoir Co, NC, p 316, Winnifred MOZINGO: Males: none; Females: 1->16-25 (Hannah), 1->over 45 (Winnifred).

I think it is likely that Winney and this Winnifred are the same person. If for any reason she could not keep up with the expenses of the property from he father then it would not be unlikely for her to move to NC to be with one of her other brothers. If she was living close to her brother the the child in her household could be his.
