Rev. John Mozingo, 73 of the Long Hollow Community, Route 2, LaFollette died Tuesday night at LaFollette Community Hospital. He was a member of Long Hollow Baptist Church, a retired farmer and a minister. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Ayers Mozingo of Route 2, LaFollette; two sons, John Hogan Mozingo and Curt Mozingo both of Ringgold Ga.; two step-sons, Virgil Jones of Boston, Charles Jones of LaFollette; three daughters, Mrs. Blanch Polson, Mrs. Lucille Robbins, Mrs. Araletta Hickman all of LaFollette; two step-daughters, Mrs. Shirley Marlow of Dalton Ga., Mrs. Sue Mozingo of Ringgold Ga.; 30 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Friday at 2 p.m., at Lick Creek Church of God with Rev. Dink Reynolds, Rev. Theodore Carroll and the Rev. Emerson Sweat officiating. Burial was in the Hall Cemetery. Martin Funeral Home, LaFollette, in charge of arrangements.
