MARY "POLLY" MOZINGO (SPENCER) was born Bef. 1782 in Orange County, Virginia, and died Abt. 1845 in Harrison County, Kentucky. She married THOMAS CLEMMONS June 06, 1813 in Bourbon County, KY. He was born Bef. 1790 in Virginia, and died Bef. October 1824 in Unknown.

Hamon Million was their neighbor in 1820, 1830, & 1840. He also got paid by the court from Oct 1824 - Oct 1830 for her care.

Notes for THOMAS CLEMMONS:
Thomas appears to have died [or disappear] before Oct 1824, this is when his wife became unable to support herself andshe started paying the taxes for the land on Raven Creek, Harrison County, Kentucky. He could have died helping hisbrother, James, move to Decatur County, Indiana about this same time. There is a family story about the "father" being34 years old when dying in the mountains coming into Kentucky. The story was told as if coming from Virginia for the1st time.

Evidently an idiot.

In 1833 James Mozingo was made guardian of George Clemen, an Idiot and
allowed $50. a year for his care.

1844 - James, William, Thomas, and George Clemmons on the Harrison County, Kentucky Tax list with no land.

Notes for DAUGHTER CLEMONS:
The 1820 and 1830 Census data indicates this person existed. We found her brother George, an idiot. Not sure shelived to adulthood. Marriage eligibility should have been after Emeline in 1833. No marriages seem to fit inHarrison County, KY for that timeframe. Unless it was Elizabeth Clemmons to Emanuel Engles on 7 June 1830. Not sureabout her birth date. She could have been born as early as Sep 1814. Making her almost 16 by June 1830.
