I just received the obit for James Wesley Mozingo, son of John W. Mozingo of AL. He died Sept 18, 1932 in Vicksburg, MS. He was 76 yrs old. He was ill for a week. He was the step father of State Senator J.H. Culkin. Survived by 2 daughters and 4 sons. If anyone wants any further info, let me know. Donna

... I have to look at my notes a little further on the 2 wives of James Wesley Mozingo. These Mozingos are buried at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Vicksburg, MS:
J.W. Mozingo born 3/15/1857 died 9/18/1932 (this is James Wesley)
Elizabeth Culkin Mozingo born 10/1/1851 died 1/3/1937 (she is the 2nd wife of James).
Willie Nonzingo Hearn born 5/3/1882-9/20/1972 (social security has death date as 9/15/1972).
Charles J. Hearn born 2/4/1873 died 1/10/1954. (husband of Willie)

Couple notes on these: James Wesley Mozingo's 1st wife I believe is the S.E. Mozingo buried at the Church of Christ Cemetery Oak Ridge Rd Vicksburg, MS. She was born 1/31/1857 and died 2/13/1905. Sarah Elizabeth Roberts was the daughter of Abraham Roberts and Rebecca Hall. Mrs. Elizabeth Culkin Mozingo (her maiden name was Hearn). The Culkin name comes from a prior marriage. She had no children with James. Of course the Willie Nonzingo Hearn's name is Willie Hudson Mozingo.... Donna
