In the name of God amen this Thirtieth day of January one Thousand seven
Hundred and Eighty Three I Edward Mozingo of the County of Richmond and perish of Lunenburgh, Carpenter, being weak of body but of perfect and sound Memory thanks be God for it and Calling to mind the mortality of my Body Knowing that it Is appointed for all men to die do make this last Will and Testament that is to say Principally and first I Commend my soul intothe hands of Almighty God, that gave it and my Body I Commit to the Earth to be buried in a Christian andDecent manner, at the discretion of my Executor hereafter named nothing Doubting but st the general Resurrection I shall Receive the same again by theAlmighty power of God and as touching such worldly Estate wherewith it pleased my God to bless me in this life I give, desire and dispose thereof in the
following manner and form, (Item)
I give and bequeath unto my son John Mozingo and his Heirs one shilling
sterling and no more, Item, I give end bequeath unto my son Absalom Mozingo and his Heirs one shilling sterling and no more, Item, I give and bequeath unto my son Thomas Moxingo one Young Heifer and no more, likewise all the Remainderpart of my Estate, I give and bequeeth unto my wife Hannah Moxingo during her life and after her Death to be Equally Divided between my Four Children Elixabeth Mozingo, and Hannah Mozinso, and Richard Mozingo, end William Mozingo after my Just Debts and funeral Charges is Paid,
Lastly I appoint Presley Neale, Joshua Hinson, and John Mozingo to be my Sole
Executors end this to be taken for my lest will end Testament as Witness
Whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seale the day and Year above mentioned.

At A Court held for Richmond County the 2nd day of June 1783 This Will was
presented in Court by Presley Neale and Joshua Hinson two of the Executors
therein named who made oath thereto according to law and being proved by the
oath of the witnesses thereto was admitted to --- and on the notion of the
said Executors giving security a certificate is granted them for obtaining a
probate thereof in due form
