GLADIS R. MOSINGO......Galdis R. Mosingo, age 81 of Monroe, MI, passed away Thur., April 2,1998 in St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, Toledo,OH. She has been seriously ill for some a month.
She was born April 28, 1916 in Claiborne Co. She and her husband helped start what is now Stewart Road Church of God. She was a member of Church of God cleveland Assembly, Cleveland,TN. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Sarah (Jones) Hill; husband, Silas H. Mosingo; two sons, Rev. Harold J. Mosingo and infant Robert L ; sisters, Audie Lovell, Gertie Haynes and Eller Graves. Survivors: son, Jerry L. of Ann Arbor; daughters, Mrs. Tony (Mary E.) Cobb, Patsy L. Leach and Mrs. Terry (Valerie S.) Medley, all of Monroe, and Joy M. Mosingo of Cleveland,TN; sisters, Helen Smith and Mrs. Earl (Edith) Moyers, both of Monroe; 12 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Funeral service was held 2pm Sat., April 4 in the Stewart Road Church of God with Dr. Joseph Byrd, pastor, and Rev. Johnnie Jones officiating. Burial in the Woodland Cemetery. Rupp Funeral Home in charge.
