Mary Elizabeth Cobb, age 58, arrived safely in the ARMS OF HER LORD Monday evening, May 26, 2008. Her loving family was all around her.

Mary was born June 25, 1949, in Monroe, Michigan, to the union of the late Silas Mosingo and Gladys (Hill) Mosingo.

She was a member of the Monroe High School Class of 1967. On October 2, 1976, Mary wed Tony Cobb in Speedwell, Tennessee.

Mary had a passion for Life, but even more so for Christ. Mary had ministered as an Evangelist for the Cleveland Assembly; Church of God. She has also been a devoted member of the North Monroe Street Church of God Mountain Assembly, and a faithful inspiration to many.

She also enjoyed gardening, including vegetables and tomatoes. Mary loved to share her pickings, especially apples from the Adrian Apple Orchard.

Mary was also an active member of the Relay for Life and she was the Founder, Captain, and Inspirational Leader of the "Mosingo's Miracles" team.

Mary's love for family and friends was witnessed through the multitude of lives she touched. Photography of everything was a favorite pastime.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her husband, Tony; a daughter, Sarah of Monroe; a brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Sue Mosingo of Ann Arbor; two sisters, Pansy and Dan Heath of Monroe and Valarie and Terry Medley of Monroe; one sister-in-law, Joy Mathews. She also had many nieces and nephews. She leaves two loving pets, Georgia and Buddy.

She was preceded in her passing by her Father, Silas in 1979, her mother, Gladys in 1997, a brother, Harold in 1995, a nephew, Steven in 2006, and a beloved dog, Lizzie in 2008.

Friends and Family may gather from 1-8 pm Thursday, May 29, 2008, at the North Monroe Street Church of God, 2393 North Monroe Street. A Celebration of Her Life will take place at the church Friday, where friends may gather from 11:00 am until the service at 1:00 pm.
