Walter Mozingo
GRIDLEY -- Walter I. Mozingo, 75, Gridley, died Thursday, Dec. 5, 2002, at a Burlington hospital.
He was born Jan. 23, 1927, in Gridley, the son of W.L. and Esther A. Smith Mozingo.
Mrs. Mozingo was a member of the Gridley Christian Church, Hebron Lodge No. 314 AF&AM and Phillips-Stukey-Shaffer Post No. 296 of the American Legion, all in Gridley. He married Blendena Morton on Dec. 15, 1971, at Greenridge, Mo. She died Aug. 29, 1995.

Survivors include two brothers, Roy F. Mozingo, Gridley, and Gerald Mozingo, Lebanon, Tenn.; and two sisters, Marjorie Hursh and Lillian Leighton, both of Gridley.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Gridley Christian Church. Burial will be in Gridley Cemetery. Mr. Mozingo will lie in state after noon Sunday at Jones Funeral Home in Burlington, where visitation will be from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
