Thomas and Mary ran away to Mississippi to get married one day before Mary turned 16. They had 15 children but 2 died at birth. Thomas was a truck driver in Choctaw County.
They ran off to get married because her parents were moving morengo county, and she wanted to stay. they lived in Mr. newtons cribb until the house was built.
