SATURDAY-GOLDSBORO PAPER - ESTHER LANE
MOUNT OLIVE -- Esther Mozingo Lane, 84, died Thursday at Sunbridge Care & Rehabilitation. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Sunday at 7 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home. Father Frank Raffo will preside. Burial will be on Monday at 11 a.m. at Maplewood Cemetery. She was born in Wayne County to the late Lon and Anna Mozingo and was married to the late Vance Lane. She was preceded in death by one son, Woodard Lane. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Mount Olive. She is survived by two sons, William and Carson Lane, both of Mt. Olive; one daughter, Maxine Lane Grimes of Benson; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

The family will be receive friends at the funeral home immediately following the service on Sunday night, and other times at the home of William Lane, 443 Northeast Church Road, Mount Olive.
