MAPLE HILL - Marilene Padgett Mozingo, 70, of Maple Hill, died March 12, 2009, at home.
A funeral service will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, March 15, 2009, at Jones Funeral Home Chapel with Aubrey Pierce officiating. Burial will follow at Padgett Family Cemetery.

Survivors include husband, Wesley Mozingo of the home; son, Allen Mozingo of Maple Hill; daughters, Wendy Ottaway of Holly Ridge and Michelle Capps of Maple Hill; step daughter, Melody Locklear of Jacksonville; sisters, Margaret Blackstock of Greenville, S.C., Connie Brown of Jacksonville and Vallie Hooper of Holly Ridge; brothers, Troy Padgett and Walter J. Padgett, both of Maple Hill; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
