Malinda married John Ervin (Irvin) on Feb. 7, 1839 in Rockingham Co., VA. According to a letter from arelative, Malinda's (and Reubins) mother died and George remarried to Martha. The letter said Martha was mean and that Malinda and a brother left and Malinda took care of them by sewing. I think this was supposed to be before George moved to MO. I don't know if the brother was Reubin or if there was another. It is possible that William H. was this brother. If so, he and Reubin were within a year of each other in age. This is also why I wonder if the George Muzzings that married Polly Muzzings might have been this George.
