MOZINGO FAMILY BOOK Feb., 1994, The Family of John Walter Mozingo and Mattie Batten Mozingo
Below is the information from the Mozingo Family Book owned by John Paul Mozingo of Lucama. From the preface of the book, I have taken the following paragraph: "Family members have been very helpful in gathering and supplying information from a variety of sources. Clyde Mozingo provided the impetus for beginning the project and researched records at courthouses and the state archives, visited cemeteries to locate gravesites, and talked personally to many people familiar with the Mozingo family. Special contributions were made by Walton Mozingo. Each of John W. Mozingo's children worked with their family to write biographical sketches." This information is shared with the Mozingo egroup with permission from Paul Mozingo, who owns the copy of the book I have used.
