Fowler's (Phelan's) Alabama - Light Artillery Company - Biographical Information
William Mozingo joined Fowler's Battery on February 28th, 1862 with his brothers Allen and Jackson. On June 3rd, 1864 he was captured outside of Marietta, Georgia. He was sent to a POW camp in Brooklyn, New York, where he died.
