At this point, I'm doubtful that I have any living cousins from that line. Charlie and Nancy had one daughter, Learie, who married James Thomas Vandiford (Vandeford/Vanderford). I believe that Learie and James had at least seven children, but I suspect that all died in infancy. Moreover, I'm hoping to find someone from Charlie's second family who might know something of the first... Charlie L. Murphy, born 1 July 1867 (Lenoir Co, I believe), son of William Murphy. Died 17 May 1945 (Greene Co, I believe). Cornelia (Mozingo) Murphy, born 4 Oct 1882, died 29 Oct 1953. Charlie and Cornelia are buried at Rainbow UMC, highway NC-58, south of Snow Hill and near Hookerton.
