Carrot Utappam ( Breads / Indian / Breakfast )
Ingredients:
½ cup Rawa (semolina)
½ cup Wheat flour
½ cup Rice flour
½ cup Maida
1 carrot grated
2 pinches Hing (asafoetida)
¼ tsp finely chopped ginger
8 to 10 Curry leaves finely chopped
½ tsp Chilly powder
¼ tsp Garam masala powder
Salt to taste
Oil for cooking
Method
Mix the flours together with all the ingredients except oil. Add enough water to make a batter of a dropping consistency. Grease a tawa with little oil and heat.
Spread a little batter on the hot tawa. Pour a little oil on the sides and cook till brown on the underside. Turn and cook on the other side. Repeat with the remaining batter. Serve hot with any chutney.
