After a boring set by Candella, Finger 11 came out. The crowd was a bit less than I had expected, but I guess Days of the New's absence was the reason for that. I had only heard of Finger 11's song "Quicksand" on their CD from the friend who invited me to the concert. I didn't know what to expect, but I was feeling pretty damn good. To put it best, THEY ROCKED! The lead singer looked like Mark Walberg and his vocals went really well with their sound. The guitarist was interesting too; he moved like a robot and was kind of neat to watch. They did like 12 songs or so and it was really awesome. The music was exciting, headbanging shit, but not many people were moshing. It would have been a lot cooler if the crowd was bigger so there would be more moving around, pushing, moshing, etc. Like I said, I had only heard one of their songs before, but they impressed me enough to buy their CD. I love music, but it usually takes a lot for me to spend my money on an album. Since then, I listen to the CD constantly (it's my favorite one) and I recommend Finger 11 to everyone. I can't wait till they come back to the beach!
