Mary May was known as "Mary Pepper" when she married Joshua Seaver. Her first child, Bethia, was born after the death of Joseph Pepper on 21 APR 1676 in an Indian battle at Sudbury. See Savage, V. III, 391 and V. IV, 46.
Sometimes Mary's death is falsely listed as 22 MAY 1683, which is the death date of her daughter Mary (1).
