Thomas was in the Rehoboth battle, also known as the Pawtucket fight, in which Captain Michael Peirce and more than 60 of his men were slain on 26 MAR 1675/6, the Sabbath. Thomas returned sorely wounded, one of the three survivors of the 15 Scituate men in that battle, and the only one whose name is known. Thomas was a wheelwright. He was on the Coroner's Jury in 1677, and Freeman in 1680.
