"Kat, I need those new set designs by tomorrow morning." Twenty-one year old Katarina Ellers sighed. The slender brunette was the set designer for the movie Here On Earth. It wasn't an easy job, but Kat loved it. She enjoyed making things go on behind the scenes. Katarina grabbed some papers and walked to Mark, her boss's office.
"Here they are." Kat said, sweeping back the hair that had escaped from her bun. Kat could never get her hair to do anything so it was always in a ponytail or a bun and her clothes were always wrinkled.
"Thank you Kat." Mark said, then paused. He turned to the man next to him, who had blue hair and green eyes.
"Kat, I'd like you to meet David McKinney. He's our stunt coordinator." Kat shook David's hand.
"It's nice to meet you." David nodded.
"Same to you."
"It was nice meeting you David, but I have to get back to work." David nodded again.
"I'll see you later." He paused and smiled. "Count on it."

David unlocked the door of the apartment that he and his best friend Josh Hartnett shared and walked inside.
"Anyone home?" David yelled. Josh popped his head out of the kitchen.
"I'm making nachos. Want some?" David nodded, throwing his keys down on the table.
"I found the perfect girl to be in Pearl Harbor." David commented, walking into the kitchen. Josh popped a chip into his mouth.
"Really? Enlighten me." David grabbed a chip.
"Her name is Katarina Ellers and she was the set designer for Here On Earth." Josh thought for a minute.
"Don't know her." David nodded.
"Nobody does. She's one of those girls that just blend into the crowd." Josh smirked.
"So what makes you think that she would be able to act?"
"I just know Josh. Once you meet her, you'll understand." Josh nodded.
"Okay." Josh said. "I trust your judgement." David smiled. I hope so.

David walked into Kat's office the next day. She was at a desk wearing a wrinkled blue button down shirt and jeans, her brown hair in a messy ponytail.
"I have a proposition for you." Davis said, pulling up a chair. Kat raised one unruly eyebrow.
"What would that be?" David smiled.
"How would you like to be in a movie?" Kat laughed.
"Good one David." She paused then continued. "You're not serious are you?"
"As serious as a heart attack."
"Me? Kat Ellers? Be a movie star?" David nodded. "You have got to be kidding." David leaned forward, his arms on his knees.
"Why not? I know you can act. I feel it." Kat shrugged her shoulders.
"I've acted a little."
"So do this. My best friend is going to be in a new movie called Pearl Harbor. They're looking for someone to play the head nurse Evelyn."
"Who's your best friend?" David sighed.
"Josh Hartnett." Kat's eyes widened.
"Now you're lying." David laughed.
"I'm serious. Please Kat. I know you can do this." Kat thought for a minute.
"Ok." Kat said. "I'll do it."
