10-10-02: PROFUSE, Maximum Security's Original band, is playing in a contest
sponsored by DRIVE 105 this Wednesday, October 16th. The contest is at Brewbaker's Bar in North St. Paul at 8:00 p.m. For FREE TICKETS email Profuse at email@profuseonline.com This will be an all ages show. If you don't know how to get there just go From HWY 36
East to McKnight Rd. {across from Target}. The boys hope to see you there!

11-6: Saw Maximum in Oakdale (10/26) and at Withrow (11/2). Both shows rocked, but Withrow was the best show I've seen of theirs yet :0) They just keep getting better and better. New songs they sing include Weezer's "Island In the Sun" and Nickelback's "How You Remind Me". Check 'em out.

9-6: Saw Maximum twice...Woodbury Days and at the fair. Woodbury Days the guys rocked! Best I've ever heard them. Power went out for about a minute, but it was restored (thank goodness). The guys are still working on the CD. A single for "Buy You Away" will be released this weekend. It will also have "For You" and one other song. Look for it at shows. The guys did a live show for a radio station in WI, WOJB on the 31st and played an acoustic set, impressing the announcer. It was great. Not sure when I'll be able to catch them next, as the few in the near future around me are 21 plus, but I'll let you all know.

8-20: Saw Maximum yesterday, they put on another great show. Their CD should be out at Rutabaga, August 25th in Cumberland, WI. There will be about ten or 11 songs on it, all original. For the radio show on the 31st the guys will be doing an acoustic set. Mike should be at the State Fair all 4 days the Dweebs play, but the others might only be there a few. They only had one Maximum shirt left, but they are ordering more so be sure to pick one up at an upcoming show and the CD too. A friend of theirs, Trevor played guitar on Staind's "Outside" with them, he was pretty good. Mike played drums for the Dweebs, because there drummer was on vacation.

8-10: The guys will be stopping by our chat on Monday, August 13th sometime during practice (6-9 p.m.)
Stop on in and talk to the band. I'm not sure if I'll be able to make it because I'll be on vacation, but I'll sure try.

8-3: Maximum on the Radio!
August 31, 2001
WOJB 88.9 FM Hayward, Wi - on the internet at http://www.wojb.org
Maximum Security will be perfoming live, interviews and also some prerecorded airplay.
Air Time: 9:00 pm ?
Stay tuned for more details.

7-09: The Turtle Lake show was great! Ryan and Ben both said the CD should be out in the next month or so
(Ben thought they'd have it by Woodbury Days). The guys sang a few new songs...one from the album
(don't know the title), a Beatles cover (don't know the title), Staind's "It's Been Awhile" and another one that I do know but I don't know the title (if anyone knows these please email me). And for any of you going to the Minnesota State Fair, the Dweebs are the only one's singing but all 4 MS guys will be on-hand running the spotlight and selling merchandise, etc.

Do you have your Maximum Security shirt? If not then head on over to the Dweeb's Official site and
get your's today. They cost $12.

7-05: Maximum will be going on at 9:45 Friday nite at the Siren Benefit Concert.

6-30: New concert! Friday July 6th - Float-Rite Amphitheater in Somerset WI.
It's an all ages benefit show for the tornado victims. Tickets cost $10 and the show is from 6-12, featuring the Dweebs, Maximum Security, and other local bands. Check out the Dweebs site for more details. This show is not to be missed!

6-2: The Woodbury show has been cancelled again, this time till next summer sometime.

5-25: New songs in the show by artists The Beatles and Toadies.

5-23: The Woodbury date has been rescheduled to Sunday June 3rd, same time I believe.
Hope to see everyone there!
