Born March 24, 1970, Sharon Helga Corr is the second eldest, and second tallest of the Corrs, standing at 5' 5 1/4". Sharon plays the violin and is a background vocalist, but has also played the keyboards for select songs, such as Closer, and has now shown her talent on the guitar for the song Somebody for Someone.
Sharon attended school at the Dun Lughaidh Convent, where she was far from the perfect student. Sharon was actually quite rebellious, and was suspended twice for bunking off. Once at school, a nun told her that she would be a failure all her life. That nun obviously didn't know how wrong she was!
Sharon's only bad habit is smoking, and she's addicted to coffee. At interviews, Sharon usually takes the lead and answers most of the questions, but the band agrees that there is no leader. According to Sharon, her worst characteristic is dogmatism. She likes people who are honest, but can't stand people who talk just for the sake of it.
