In this 1955 movie starring Marilyn Monroe, Manhattan husband Richard Sherman sends his wife and son to the country for the summer. Married for 7 years, he can't understand why other men carouse and philander with other women while their wives are away. Then one day, a beautiful blonde bombshell moves into the apartment upstairs. She is always coming down for a visit wearing tight or revealing clothes and taking delight in flirting it up with him. This sends his already overactive imagination into overdrive. One part of him wants to find out what being with this woman would be like, while the other part wants to stay faithful to his wife. Some may argue, but after having seen many of her films, I think this is Marilyn Monroe's best work.
