BOND LINKS: Official BOND mailing list sign up link SIMILAR CROSS-OVER ARTISTS: My favorites... Linda Brava/Lampenius: An Obscure cross-over violinist who is extremely hard to find. Her only POP album was only ever released in Finland for 2 years and can no longer be bought. Vanessa Mae: Another cross-over violinist whose career began when she was in her early teens. If you are searching for the 'perfect' cross-over album buy her album "Storm" The Planets: I only just stumbled across this group and their amazing gem of an album "Classical Graffiti". If you like BOND you will like The Planets as well. Emma Shapplin: A cross-over singer whose ingenious combination of the classical and pop cultures just keeps getting better and better. Sarah Brightman: Another cross-over singer who has an amazing ability to change singing styles which allows for a great variety on her albums. She also possesses the unique talent of flirting with the rhythm of a piece which I find very captivating. Danny Elfman: My personal favorite film composer. He is most commonly recognized for his work on the theme for "The Simpson's" but his extensive career has also seen him do work for films such as "Batman", "Edward Scissorhands" and more recently "Spiderman". Mike Batt: Mike Batt is a genius who has delved extensively in cross-over music. He has worked with the likes of Vanessa Mae, The Planets and BOND(yay)...all of whom are on my favorites list...especially BOND...obviously!
