I love reading. Reading is a cool escape sometimes. My favorite authors are Nicholas Sparks, Michael Crichton, Tom Clancy, John Grisham, and J.K. Rowling.
Jurassic Park
An awesome book. A team of experts must check out this park on Isla Nublar to make sure its safe. When they get there, they realize that genetically engineered dinosaurs have been brought back to life. It is soon discovered the animals are breeding even though they were all female. The fences go out and the dinosaurs get loose and kill people. Hehe its an awesome book, perhaps my all time favorite ever.
The Lost World
Sequel to Jurassic Park. This book is much like the first, except a group of people (containing one person from the original team on Isla Nublar) go to "Site B" where the animals of Jurassic Park were created and where one of their partners is trapped. They go and try to save him, but are faced with troubles when many dinosaurs, diseases, and other people are discovered there.
The Harry Potter Series
These books are not just another boring 'geeky boy turns great hero' books. These books are different. When your inside his mind its so real. The emotions and everything...well I always get caught up in these books. The books are so well written, its like you're actually there. The magic, wizards, trickery...I'd love to be there. Theres just something about these books that draws you in.
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
The best book in the series so far. Harry deals with jealousy, pain, and sadness. Someone he is very close to dies, he defeats Voldemort yet again, struggles with homework, studying, and preparing for the O.W.L. exams, forms a secret club, gets a new headmaster and "high inquisitor" and much more. ♥ ♥ ♥ I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS BOOK ♥ ♥ ♥ and I'm already re-reading it, the third day after it was released.
A Walk To Remember
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS BOOK! Its so sad... I thought it'd just be another dumb love story but she dies! I couldn't believe it! I cried every time I see the movie or read the book. Maybe its because my dad has leukemia, but I think its an amazing book.
Patriot Games
This was the first Tom Clancy book I read, and its my favorite one too. Jack Ryan ruined a terrorists assassination attempt at the Prince and Princess of Wales. He has to fight and protect himself from the terrorists who are now trying to kill him.
The Cobra Event
A deadly virus has been spreading and killing people who come in contact with it. The virus is found to be genetically engineered by a person who goes by the name “Archimedes.” Alice Austen and her partners must try to stop Archimedes from distributing his virus and apprehend him.
When 17-year-old Kate Moran dies at her school after going into convulsions and can’t stop biting herself, Alice Austen, a 29-year-old medical pathologist who works as an Epidemic Intelligence Service for the Centers for Disease Control in Atlanta, is brought in to examine the body. Alice discovers that Kate’s nervous system was basically destroyed. There has been only one other case of a death like this, a homeless man known as the Harmonica Man. Alice discovers the infecting process is like that of a virus after Kate Moran’s art teacher Mr. Talides, dies. Mr. Talides was infected while trying to save Kate’s life before she died. Alice works with the scientists Ben Kly, Lex Nathanson, and Glenn Dudley to discover the content of a deadly genetically engineered virus. She finds that a person known only as Archimedes is responsible for the spreading of this deadly virus, called Cobra because of the design on the boxes used to spread the virus. She also works with William Hopkins, Frank Masaccio, and Mark Littleberry to locate and capture the person they know as Archimedes. During the process of tracking and stopping Tom Cope (Archimedes), who is the person responsible for the spread of the Cobra virus, a total number of the cases of the Cobra virus are reported is 39 people, including himself. Some deaths, however, were not counted because the people were not actually infected with Cobra, just killed by someone who was infected.
