FRISCO JAZZ BAND
Rust is incorrect in his information about this band. It was lead
by Lou "Frisco"Chica who also made xylophone solo for
Edison. Also a young reed play made some of his first records
with this band, his name was Rudy Wiedoeft, and is present on
these sides.
JAZZIN' AROUND (FULLER) (T66667-1) PATHE 20430-B
MORSE AND FRANKEL (EUBIE BLAKE TRIO) 8/17
This record for some strange reason was issued as being played
by "Morese and Frankel" but it really they first Eubie
Blake trio record (dual piano and drums). The other personel is
unknown. It is possible that this was the original test record
that Pathe decided to issue later after the success of the other
3 sides? Using the other name to avoid suspicion.
THE JAZZ DANCE (OVERSTREET) PATHE 20430-A (T66787-2)
BLAKE'S JAZZTONE ORCHESTRA 11/17
According to Rust this side has nothing to do with Eubie Blake.
It is a real band from Virginia.

LINDSAY MCPHAIL'S JAZZ ORCHESTRA OF CHICAGO 8/21
This record I have mis-pressed on Melody 1415-A. What I should
have gotten was Away Down South by the Melody Dance Orchestra.
The correct release number the Zowie was Olympic 15123. I think
I got the better deal.
