Crazy Magic Guy (CMG): Why are your pages all just plain black-and-white?
Me: Because I don't have any backgrounds and this way everything is just simple and clean and sharp looking.
CMG: What if I want color?
Me: Well, that's just too bad.
CMG: What if I go to another webpage that has color?
Me: Fine! From now on (June 26, 2000) all pages will have balck backgrouns and colored writing. Happy?
CMG: Very. Why are you talking orders from me?
Me: Because you scare me.
CMG: Oh. Why do you like Cats?
Me: Because it's cool. It has great music and dancing and costumes and make-up and it gives you a huge respect for cats.
CMG: Are you a Broadway/famous cast member of Cats?
Me: Not yet. Don't E-mail me about it- I'm not a famous cast member!
CMG: Do people think your a Cats video cast member?
Me: Yes. Lots of people. In real life too. Even people I don't know. When I was at the mall with my mom yesterday this lady came up to me and was like "Oh, I know you! Your the girl who plays that little kitten with the big eyes in the Cats video!" And I was like "Er... yes... whatever you say." It was frightening.
CMG: Yeah, that would be scary. Anyway, what's all this about this "Yulanda"-person?
Me: One of my best friends who's also in love with Cats.
CMG: Why do you keep mentioning her?
Me: Because she's incredibly cool.
CMG: What gave you the idea for the "If We Were Cats Characters" page?
Me: I don't know. I was bored one day and it just popped into my head.
CMG: Where did you get the idea for your story?
Me: From the place where ideas come from.
CMG: Why does the main character in your story have your name?
Me: She's not really me. It's just that I started out with her having a difference name (Natalie) and then I got sick of it so I changed it. Then I got sick of that name so I changed it again. And then I got sick of that name and so I tried to think of a name I wouldn't get sick of. And I figured that honestly my name would probably be the only one I couldn't get sick of.
CMG: Did you really have an infected bone and get a biospy?
Me: Yes.
CMG: Did it hurt a lot?
Me: Yes.
CMG: Do you have a 3-inch scar?
Me: Yes.
CMG: Can I see it?
Me: No. Now can we please not talk about my leg?
CMG: Okay. Can somebody put your colleage on their webpage?
Me: Yes. Just give me credit for making it.
CMG: Can anyone put your fan-fic on their page?
Me: Yes, but ask me first.
CMG: Can I put your story on my webpage?
Me: No.
CMG: Why not?
Me: Because your a made-up character from one of my stories and you don't have a webpage anyway.
CMG: Oh.
