| Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) | This site has information regarding any health issue from A-Z. I have used this site numerous times for assignments in my health classes, but also just for general information. It has many helpful links. |
| National Institutes of Health (NIH) | Like the CDC, the NIH has a wealth of information regarding any health issue and what is being done to prevent, detect, diagnose, and treat disease and disability. |
| UNICEF | I have been using this site frequently for an assignment in another class. It has greatly increased my awareness of children's needs globally...and how UNICEF is contributing to the welfare of the world's children. |
| Learn the Net | I like this site because I learned so much! It was easy to follow and understand. For me and computers...that is a must! |
| Medlineplus | I like this site because it is for everyone. It has links to health topics, drug information, medical encyclopedia, dictionary, and even directories for doctors and dentists. It also provides access to journal articles which is helpful for any Community Health major. |
| Baby Universe | This is a good site because they carry just about everything a new mother could want or need. They have a large variety and inventory of items. They also have several payment options which is good for those who do not like giving out their credit card number. |
| One Step Ahead | This is another good site for expectant and new mothers because they carry items not typically found in baby stores. They also carry many developmental items for children. |
| LDS Church | Whenever I have to give a talk or teach a lesson, I immediately go to this site. I mostly link to Gospel Library, but I am excited about the new Provident Living site, also. |
| Food Network | I like this site because I can find a recipe for anything. I can get videos of shows, I can go on the bulletin board with questions, and there are links to other channels and shows. |
| Deseret News Movies | We frequently go to the movies, and this is a great site to see what is playing in the area. At this site you can read movie reviews and link to previews. |
