I have a letter, Mam'selle
Tell me quickly, what's the story?

'Ow do you do, my name's Rachel! This is my website, 'ere's my patch!

Hmmmmm. . . what to say about me. . . I'm fifteen years old (finally!!), female, and I'm a ninth grader in a Southern Oregon hippy town. I love to read, draw, dance, write, debate, and try to figure out the internet (hence this site). My favorite character from Les Misérables is Enjolras (I half want to be him, and half want to be his), followed closely by the rest of Les Amis, and pretty much everyone else. See, I really, really love every single character! Except maybe Theodule. And I'm not a Marius- or Cosette-basher! I swear! I've seen the show (Third National Tour) twice and read the book once (I'm starting on it again, though). It made me cry! And I almost never cry! I think I've got the tough-girl thing going on a little too much. You know, like guys have their machoism thing? Kind of like that. I also claim to fear nothing! Anyway, I think I prefer the book *winces as crowds begin booing and throwing tomatoes*, but I adore the musical as well.

If you're not very nice, you're probably wondering right now why the heck I thought I had the right to make this boring site. Well, I made it for the sake of making it! I get to type in all this stuff in code! It's so fun! If you don't already have a website, you should make one!!!! It's almost as fun as putting on fuzzy gloves and. . . well, you can read more about that (and me!) on the obsession page!

I first fell in love with Les Misérables six years ago when my parents went to see it in Portland. They brought back the OLC, and I was hooked. The next year I got the book and TAC video for Christmas. I first saw the 3NT two and a half years ago, but it wasn't until this past summer when I finally finished the book that I became truly obsessed. For me, Les Misérables is not just a book, a musical, and a bunch of bad movies, it's a way of life.

Jean Prouvaire: That was so beautiful!

Me: *blushes bright red (the color of desire)* Thanks!

Oh yeah, I'm a
