Cassandra
Cassandra is a sleek black Siamese cat who slinks silently, but noticably around the stage. She's very mysterious like Macavity, but she's not a bad cat and doesn't have powers (besides the fact that she seems to notice when Old Deuteronomy when the twins do.)Some people say that she isn't a Siamese, that she's a Persian. I disagree because Persians are the grey or white cats that have flat faces.She doesn't have any important roles, but all the other cats watch her when she slinks around or comes out (she usually does her tricks in the background) which is what she's doing - trying to steal the spotlight.When Grizabella first started singing, Cassandra walked slowly up toward the front, hissed and ran away; and everyone was looking at her instead of Grizabella (even the old cat). And when Skimbleshanks and Jennyanydots moce off the car when Mistoffelees was getting the red blanket during his song, she wait until after he already had it, the ran through with her arms in the air, smiling at the camera.She is Alonzo's mate because they are always together dancing or cuddling.Cassandra is so limber and she looks like she could bend in any direction. She has to be played by a very flexible womanShe is one of my favourites because she' so mysterious and limber, pretty and she has my name!.
