More than you wanted to know!
Name: Amber
Age: 26
Astrological signs: Scorpio, Year of the Dragon
Currently residing in: Syracuse, NY
Previous locations: Quebec, Canada, Maryland, New York, Terceira Island (Azores) Portugal, Maine, and now New York again.
Favorite vacation spot: Cracow, Poland.
Relationship status: Engaged to a fine specimen of masculinity named Jake
My thoughts on Smokers:They stink. And the scary part is that they don't even realize it until the day when, heaven forbid, they get some good clean oxygen into their lungs and realize.."Hey,...I stink!?" It's not funny really. I have friends who are smokers.
My thoughts on Drinking: Hey, as long as you can handle it...
My thoughts on Body Art: I have a japanese dragon on my back that rocks. Having said that, there is a fine line between classy and trashy body art.
Occupation: I quit to go back to school full-time.
Education: Yes, I'm going somewhere unlike most of you amoebas.
Vehicle: Jeep Cherokee Sport.
Personal philosophy: "You can travel the world in search of beauty, but you must first carry it with you." I think Ralph Waldo Emerson said something like that.
Most Recent Diggable Music: Dave Matthews;U2;Better Than Ezra;Pink;Kenny Chesney;;Alanis;Dido;Moby; No Doubt; Gabrielle, Jana, Red Earth, LiteFoot...
Favorite foods: Pad Thai Noodles in satay sauce, sushi, tabouli, eggplant parmesan, spaghetti, poczki, pierogies, butternut squash and, of course, chocolate.
Thoughts on Being Vegetarian: Although I'm still a vegetarian, I'm a lot less strict than I used to be. For the most part, whenever I meet people and they find out that I don't eat meat, I get the same ignorant reaction. Inevitably, they will try to convince me that I'm not healthy as if I will suddenly see the light and tell them that they are right. **HINT-Vegetarians are more knowledgeable about their "rabbit food" diets than most non-vegetarians are about their own.
Stuff I like to do: Travelling, riding trails, walking, camping, fishing, generally being outdoors, and reading (yep, I'm a dork).
Stuff I don't like: Watching t.v., drugs ("drugs 'r bad mmkay?"), shop, ride in a Mexican taxi with Crystal and Kenny, take out the garbage, laundry, there isn't much I don't like to do, but it mostly has to do with cleaning.
Recommended reading: One of my favorite books of all time is Deepak Chopra's "Perfect Health." It promotes a higher standard of living. It isn't preachy or one of those fad books.
Beautiful: Jake, blue eyes, tall men, self-confidence, passion, family-values, foriegn accents, humour, sunflowers, the smell of coffee beans, smiles, Copenhagen, friends, the Dave Matthews' Band, grilling-out, volunteering for a cause, self-empowerment, having $5.00 in my pocket, the ocean, being acknowledged, loving, being loved, happiness, getting a card in the mail from a friend who just wanted to say hi, Jake's family, losing 80 lbs, rhodesian ridgebacks, my mother, knowledge, being able to stand on my own two feet...
Stupid: Cockiness, cheesy lines, sweaty palms, tongue rings, girls who cry abuse but who are the first ones to hit, selfishness, vindictiveness, bad hygeine, people who look down on others, beepers, holding grudges, people who stare, being questioned...
