The current economy has you short staffed and work that needs done is piling up. Your staff is excellent, but it seems to take forever to get things done and then it's still wrong. What happened? And more importantly, how can you get back on track?
Documentation Saves Time & Money Training Results in High Quality
One of the first things cut back by Corporations to reduce costs is documentation. Why? Because it's time consuming and costs money. Besides, in today's ever changing world, why bother when changes will take place tomorrow anyway.

What results, however, when procedures and systems aren't documented is chaos. Procedures become sloppy and gradually no one remembers the correct procedure. Everyone makes up their own standards and takes their own shortcuts.

Computer systems are no longer understood so employees 'guess' at how the system works. Even risker, programmers are doing the same guesssing game. The result ends in a common joke: 'to really foul things up requires a computer.'

Why does it doing the same thing two, three, sometimes four times before its right? What happened to high quality and doing it right the first time? Maybe the answer is simple - training was cut back to save money - but oddly enough it's costing you more money to redo work than it would have to invest in employee training. However, systems have gone undocumented and training is "learn as you go." The result is a staff with nowhere to go for answers.

They are performing a balancing act and often feel their computers are in control.
