"Now Cindy, I need you to relax and pay attention to me.", he said
She was still trying not to laugh.
"See the watch..."
This was stupid, but the watch was pretty.
"... only the watch."
He was keeping it still, not swaying it like she would have thought.

"Hear my voice..."
She was hearing it. It was surprisingly authoritative.

"... only my voice."
It did seem like everything else just kind of faded into the background.
"Breath in..."
Cindy did. It just seemed kind of natural to go with what he was saying.
"...and out."
It was hard to believe a watch could be so beautiful.
"Relax."
No problem there. She was really feeling relaxed.
Dennis kept talking. It was hard to make out everything that he was saying, but she was sure she was understanding on some level.
Dennis had such a strong voice. She felt like she could stand here, seeing only the watch, listening to his voice all day.
How long had she been here? It was hard to focus. It didn't matter though. All that mattered was the watch, and the sound of Dennis' voice.
Dennis' voice was so wonderful. It seemed to be inside her head, telling her what to think. That was nice, because it meant she didn't have to think anymore, she could just relax.
She was so relaxed. She loved feeling this way. Only Dennis could make her feel this way. Only Dennis could bring her to this place, and guide her thoughts.
She would do anything for Dennis. Anything he asked. He was the man she had always wanted, always loved. She loved Dennis. She wanted him so badly.
