I must admit, when it comes to innovative instruments, Dogleg is a genius. One of the founding members of S.V.U., Dogleg has never ceased to amaze critics with his musicianship and singing abilities.

You can't help but notice the wry wit found on such classic S.V.U. songs as "Beef Sandwich", "Robots", "Skin Sack", and the now infamous "Fleshmacuffs".

Doglegs list of instruments are from the ordinary to the exotic. He plays everything from the simple guitar and Harmonica to such creative instruments as the Fan Guard, Squeeking Balloon, Spoon Guitar, Ashtray and the patent pending Tension Guitar.

This is glorified to the maximum with his playing on the song Grocery Man.

Crispy is the second half of S.V.U. His self-taught guitar playing style has set him apart from your run of the mill guitarists. He also plays the Drums, Bass, Tambourine, and Hand Claps.

Although it's been said that Crispy only sings about food, such as in the classics "Buckets of Gravy", "Lemon Shingles", "Fathoms of Fruit" and "Potted Meat", you just can't deny his lyrical genius in "Ricky Schroeder" or "Spankys".

Formed in 1985, S.V.U. is still cranking out solid music with the same philosophy they had back then: "If you drink, you can sing!" What started out in a small basement with a jambox that had a built in microphone has blossomed into a mega hit band that stands the test of time.

"This is by far the best band I have ever heard. I wish I could have played my tri-toms in one of their songs."
