The Tank Top Band Members

The Tank Tops have gone on to become one of the most exciting new bands to come along in some time. Kooch has teamed up with now legendary guitarist Crispy, from S.V.U. fame, and formed one of the 90's most eclectic groups seen since bands like "Meat Market Trio", "Grazin' Raisin" and "Landshark Canoe".

The song "Leo" put Kooch in the spotlight and his vocal energy is intense from the git-go. Songs like "$Money B" and "Fist Pumpin'" are what made this talented musician such a main stay in the music world.

Both Spin and Rolling Stone have stated that Kooch is one of the best story tellers. His deep, provocative lyrics on "Hugh Grant" and "Coach Romar" are a testament to his songwriting skills.

Crispy is the other half of the Tank Tops. As an original founding member of the Sweaty Velvet Undergarments, he has taken his many years of experience and teamed up with one of the most talented songwriters in the business today. The first Tank Tops album, "Cramp In My Style", was an instant classic and a lot of pressure was put on them for their follow up album.

Their sophmoric album "Smackin Grannies Ass" has pleased the critics and has put them back in the spotlight. It's been four long years and it's well worth the wait. What had started out as a side project for both is now becoming a full time band with great things to come.
