-My P.O.V.-
We left early the next morning to catch our final flight of the summer. Our flight home. As I sat there with Mackie in my lap I thought of a very important question.
"Hey Mom, Dad? Where are we going to be sleeping? Y'know do wee get a room or what?" I asked.
"No honey we're going to make you sleep outside." Tay joked.
"Ha ha hon, nice one." I said as I hit his shoulder playfully.
"Well we have six bedrooms. Two of them are extras so I guess two of you will share and one of you will get your own room. You can decide who does what when we get home. Ok?" Mom explained.
"Ok sounds like a plan." I said as I laid my head on Tay's shoulder and fell asleep.
"Amy, Amy!!" Mackie yelled. "We're home!! Get up." And he shook me violently. I got up and plopped him into his seat. With all this lack of sleep I wasn't in the mood for his early morning perkyness. And I laid back down on Taylor.
"Honey, come on you have to get up." Five minutes had passed since Mac first woke me up. "We're landing like now." Taylor said as he kissed my forehead.
"Ok, yeah I'm up." I said tiredly.
We landed at the Tulsa International Airport. "Holy shit." Care said as she looked out the window to see what seemed to be the whole sity of Tulsa, OK.
"Oh don't worry honey." Zac said as he looked over her shoulder and kissed her cheek.
"Yeah they always swarm like this when they know we're back for good." Isaac said.
"At least till you leave for more promotional stuff." Beth said as she got up and grabbed her carry on bags. Ike got up too and hugged her.
Taylor and I got off first-him infront of me. I couldn't even think the screaming was so loud. I almost stopped dead in my tracks when I heard some guys yell, "We love you Amy Lee!!!" I looked at Tay, who was looking back at me.
"At least they have good taste." He joked as he squeezed my hand. We continued to walk and wave. The same happened to Care and Beth. --Very strange--
We drove home in two vans and I swear what people weren't at the airport were lining the streets. Waving, pounding on the windows, holding signs, throwning flowers. It was pretty amazing. But it was nice and quiet at the Hanson home. The Tulsa fans respected their privacy.
The house was big and gorgeous. It was just like the house in Beth and my dreams. Exactly. Which was very cool but also kinda scary. We came to the conclusion on the way home that Care and I would share a room and Beth would get her own.
"Here honey let me get that." Taylor said as I started to graba my stuff.
"No Tay you don't have to do that. Besides I have way too much stuff for just you to carry." I said and I grabbed my carry on bags and the box with all my whales. "Come on Care let's go find our room!" I said excitedly.
"I'll show you which one it is." Avery said. "It's the bigger of the two." And she ran into the house with Care not far behind. I had to walk bacause all my whales were breakable.
I walked inside the Hanson home and was greeted by all the visions of my dream. Even the little black dog. "We got him after Wickit died. His name is Obby." He explained. "I think he likes you."
"You think?" I asked as I set my box down and petted Obby. I was instantly covered in puppy kisses.
"Come on Amy!! You aren't going to believe what our room looks like. It's perfect." Care yelled as she flew down the stairs and into the kitchen.
"Okay I'm coming." I said as I picked up my box. She took my hand and I followed her upstairs. We walked into a beautifully huge room with two bay windows, creme colored carpet, two full sized beds, a walk-in closet and our own bathroom which was also our connection to the guys' room. "Wow." I managed to say. "This is beyond amazing."
"Yeah it is. Did you check out the view of your bay window?" Care asked as she walked over to one of the windows.
"No, which one is mine?" I asked following her.
"Well, ok, tell me if you have a problem with this but I figured that since you love your clothes and you're quite the water baby you'd like this one. It has a great view of the river and it--along with that bed--is closer to the closet." Care said as she sat in my new bay window.
"No, that's cool." I said as I sat down opposite of her in the same window. "This is great." I said as I took her hand in mine.
"Yeah it is...it's perfect."
"Well, we should go get the rest of our stuff, eh?" I said getting up.
"Yeah no doubt." Taylor said as he walked in my room carrying three of my boxes. "Where should I put these?" He asked as Care walked by him to get her stuff.
"Over here. This, I guess you could say is my side of the bedroom." I said as I took a box from him. Once he put down the other two boxes I lept into his arms kissing him over and over. He finally turned and threw me onto the bed.
He kissed me softly. "I am so happy you're here." He kissed me again.
"Me too. I love you Tay."
"I love you too. Let's get the rest of your stuff." He said as he got up and took my hand to lead me downstairs.
"So madams, would you care for the ultimate grand tour of the Hanson grounds?" Isaac asked Beth in his English accent.
"But of course." Beth said in her English accent. She hooked her arm threw his and they waited to see if anyone else wanted to go. I was too anxious to get moved in that I stayed back with Taylor, Care and Zac. About two hours later we had all of mine and Care's stuff in our room and partially unpacked. It was starting to feel more comfortable. Not home yet but definitely somewhere I wanted to be.
"We'll have to finish unpacking tomorrow I think it's almost time to eat." I said sitting down on my bed with Taylor.
"Yeah, at least we have everything in here." Care said laying back on Zac.
"Well you know what? We've been so busy moving we haven't shown you around." Zac said taking Care's hand. "Come on."
So we got up and followed Zac. We got out into the hall and he stopped. In his best museum director voice he started the tour. "Now to your left you will find the upstairs bathroom complete with a hottub-bathtub. Now walk down this way to your right. On your left now is the Rec-room. With the video games, pool table, air hockey and a weight set. Follow me, hang a right then a left and infront of you is our room."
"We'll got there later" Taylor whispered in my ear.
"ANYWAY!!" Zac said. "Now on your left is Beth's room. But we won't go in there without her. If you'll just turn around with me and hang a right we'll go downstairs." We then walked to the noticebly louder downstairs. "Right infront of you you'll see the grand piano. Then if you turn to your right you'll see the doors to first Mom and Dad's room, then Jess and Avie's room, finally directly to your right is the hall closet. If you'll now walk to the left. On the left now is the kitchen. Feel free to help yourself to anything in this kitchen. After all this is your house now too. If you walk further this way you will find the main enterance. Hang a right and to your left is the dining room table. And yes there is amazingly enough room for all of us." He took a few steps to the right. "And here is the living room, to your left is the downstairs bathroom. On your right is Mackenzie's bedroom which he shares with Zoe."
"Come on guys time to eat!" Dad called from the kitchen.
"OK!!" Zac yelled. "Ladies and Taylor we'll continue the tour later." And he and Care went to the kitchen. Taylor and I stayed a little behind.
"He's so strange." I said as Taylor wrapped his arms around me.
"Yeah he is." he said then kinda laughed because of my inside joke with Alana. "Say Amy?"
"Huh?"
"Would you be interested in watching a movie with me after supper?" he asked kinda nervously like he was afraid I was going to say no.
"Of course." I said as I entered the kitchen. "Here mom, let me get that." I said as I took the stack of 12 plates.
"Thanks sweetie." We ate a wonderful dinner of chicken breasts, mashed potatoes, corn and hot rolls. And then Taylor and I went to watch a movie. Tay discussed it with Ike and Zac and we got the room to ourselves. Zac and Care went swimming in the river next to the house. And Isaac and Beth were going to watch a movie in her room.
