The errors my parents made over half a century ago
are similar to errors being made today by other parents.
Many parents still do not understand how great an impact decisions about their young children will later have on their child's adult life.
It is extremely important to prevent parents, who fail to be perfect, from unknowingly damaging their children.

This is April 11, 2024, and I am shutting down this site.
My hope was that it could help people, and move society in the right direction.
But, today recovering from abuse is complex, different people require different experiences.
Our world has become extremely complex, so advice from the past can be misleading.
I am not an expert.
(Most of my experience is from the last century.)
I wish you luck in finding advice from an expert.

I gratefully acknowledge the help of my mother,
who unknowingly has supplied most of the photos contained in this file.

I am confident that she would eventually be supportive of the purpose of this site
if she ever found out, and if she was able to comprehend all that has happened
and able to put it into the context of how life works in the real world.
