CHRISTMAS RECIPES
PEANUT BUTTER BALLS
1 egg (beaten)
1 cup icing sugar
1 cup coconut
3/4 cup peanut butter
1/4 to 1/2 cup crushed walnuts
chopped cherries (as desired- the more, the yummier)
Mix and form in balls, then refrigerate 1/2 hour or so, until firm.
1 lg pkg chocolate chips
1 or 2 tsp. parafin.
Dip in melted chocolate chips and parafin.
Place on a piece of waxed paper until firm.
Store in fridge.
GLADI'S CRANBERRY SALAD
2 T mayonnaise
2 T sugar
2 - 3 oz. pkgs. cream cheese
Add:
1 lg. can whole cranberry sauce
1 20 oz. can crushed pineapple
Fold in 9 ozs. Kool Whip
Put in 9 x 13 pan or mold. Freeze.
CHERRY SURPRISES
1/2 cup margarine
1 1/2 cup icing sugar
1 1/2 cup coconut
1 T milk
1 tsp. vanilla
salt
Mix all together. Take a small amount and form into a
ball, and roll in graham wafer crumbs. Then flatten in hand to approximately 1/2 inch
thickness. Make a small well in the center and place
a cherry in it. Can be frozen.
