These are excellent clips for the players and parents to work with in the back yard .They are short for fast downloading, but they make their point. Reading text on baseball instructions can help, But it is good for the player to see and use proper mechanics before it is to late to change their mistakes they learned while they were young. A 13 year old player with sloppy mechanics most likely learned the wrong way at a younger age. Then these same players run laps or get screamed at for something they learned in their earlier playing days. Has your team ever lost a ball game by one run because of a little mistake. The little things a baseball team does together and correct will get your team and player where they need to be at any age level for the future.  Nine complete ballplayers that are struggling at the plate will beat the 9 great hitters 7 out of 10 times who have been learning the game of baseball the wrong way . Notice, You can play a baseball game, But to learn the Game of Baseball is entirely different !

These Baseball Clips Require The Media Realplayer or Quicktime. If you already have this loaded in your computer just click on the links and the realplayer will do the rest.

If you do not have the realplayer you can download it  for free. It is fast and simple to use and easy to install . Just click on download and follow the instruction.

Note: Choose The Free Option, It Works Just Fine!

The Fence Drill!

A compact level swing in the strike zone is a must. This will help bat speed. A player starting to lunge at the ball will never hit for power. . Pay close attention to the position of the player's feet on his swing. He never picks up the back foot, He pivots the back foot and never opens his front to much .If your player is dragging the back foot and not making a pivot. Correct This Early.  He will lock up his hips and never have a smooth powerful swing .The feet position are just as important as the position of the hands on the bat. The coach in the video will explain more about the hands.
