A.J., which stands for Alexander James, was born on January 9th, 1978 in West Palm Beach, Florida. When A.J. was still very young, his father walked out on the family and only recently has A.J. and him reunited.
A.J. has always had a passion for singing, acting and dancing ever since he was a little boy. He was always involved in dance lessons, and singing and acting auditions. In fact, he used to always meet up with fellow Backstreet Boys, Nick and Howie at auditions frequently and together the three of them would harmonize tunes off the radio!
A.J.'s nickname is "Bone" because he is so skinny and he's the only Backstreet Boy with over 300 shades!
