The Peace keepers lash
out against the N.A.E. They realize the N.A.E. cannot be trusted and threaten
to leave forever!!
[Equinox is in a fit of rage. He paces through the halls, his face enveloped in red hot anger. His heart quickens when he sees a N.A.E. poster and he rips it off the wall.]
Equinox‑ Why in the world??? I just don't understand it.... I don't understand it!!!
[He isn't the only one of the Peace Keepers about to burn down the place when so many realizations become apparent. The N.A.E. lied to them. The N.A.E. lied to the guardians.....The N.A.E. lied about too much. Rhythm stands outside and screams into the forest. The trees shake at the sonic pulse of her voice as it goes higher and higher. Glass in windows nearby vibrate and some soon shatter. Epic runs up to Rhythm and soon has her quiet down.]
Epic‑ Please, Rhythm, if you don't quiet down you'll make us all deaf.
Rhythm‑ Well, I'm mad....I'm mad at this....Why are the high ups of the N.A.E. keeping secrets from US? US...we aren't children any longer, we deserve to hear the truth.
Epic‑ I'm mad too, but the destruction of miles of glass and people's ear drums isn't the solution.
Rhythm‑ I don't care!.... I'm sick of this existence... I've always kept a cool head, but this has gone too far!
Epic‑ Think about it this way.....How ever mad you are doesn't compare to the anger in PEACE...Chasity Key is their family.

[Inside the apartment complex, Crystal is upset but actually calm compared to the reaction of the others. Polo, Utopia, and Tempo are all facing Crystal with their feelings.]

Tempo‑ Yeah, why shouldn't we just leave. The N.A.E. thinks lies are the way to create lasting bonds.
Polo‑ Ahh...I think we should talk to the others before anyone else talks to leaving.
Crystal‑ (staring off, quiet) It is time for a group meeting.
[An hour later. The meeting is held in a locked off conference room, where the gauds are banished and room totally sealed. All the Peace keepers sit in differing amounts of brooding and anger as they look to the leader, Union to start.]
Union‑ We are hear to discuss the recent insights we have all gained into the highest leaders of the N.A.E. , we all know that we have been lied to and left in ignorance for a long time of the Secret practices inside locked doors. I think we need to openly discuss our feelings on the matter to the whole group and as a group decide how to proceed. Everyone has a equal vote.
Equinox‑ I am tired of the deceptions and I say we leave. Let the N.A. E. run things their selves.
Rhythm‑ I think we should leave as well, the N.A.E. deserves to lose us.
Ezel‑ I think we should expose the N.A.E. and leave.
Fire‑ I think we should repp the revenge on the N.A.E. that they deserve for all the lies they have told.
Tempo‑ I think that we should just leave, vanish and never look back. These past two years have been a horrific ordeal, let's just go.
Epic‑ I'm not sure that revenge is the best plan, but I think we should leave. The N.A.E. isn't healthy for us.
(Anoki looks at Crystal with a burning in his eyes. She refuses to admit her feelings on the subject to him.)
Anoki‑ I think we should leave, there is no telling how deep the lies go or how far back.
Polo‑ I think we should leave, it is apparent that we are pawns.
Union‑ I think it is best for us to walk out, until some huge change is made I don't want anything to do with the N.A.E.!
(Everyone looks to Crystal who remains silent...She lowers her head in deep inner turmoil. Anoki rubs her hand and whispers for her to vote. She raises her head after a few more moments and votes, holding back tears.)
Crystal‑ I think this is just about the hardest choice of our lives, but that we should.....leave.
(Anoki senses Crystals held back desire to amend her statement.)
Union‑ Then I suppose that it is unanimous... We shall leave.
[That evening the Peace Keepers pack their bags and after notifying their guardians of their actions they leave. Their uniforms are left hanging in their closets and letters of resignation on their beds as they openly walk out. With no explanation to the N.A.E. or commit they drift past the security and the faces of Youth Reps. they know. Everyone seems confused by their actions.
(The next day as reports are drenching the media as to why the FUTURE PEACE has abandoned the N.A.E., the Guardians with the Youth Reps. siege the N.A.E. summit and storm up to the podium. Dr. Zelmal is first to speak.)
Zelmal‑ I am sure everyone knows that the Peace keepers have left the N.A.E. , but do you know why! FUTURE PEACE personally contacted myself and their other guardians last night after they held their vote. They voted unaniomously to leave the N.A.E. because of corruption, corruption so far up in the ranks that the lies taint the efforts of everyone in the N.A.E.! These lies include knowledge of SCAR's existence years in advance to their discovery by FUTURE PEACE...
[Audience gasps] These lies also include secret "Jelly Formula" research and experiments for nine years AFTER it was banned Internationally.
[Another small gasp] The proven results of these experiments lies in the child of Dr. Richard and Gloria Key. Chasity‑Nori Key is a Peacekeeper, she has powers just like the others.
[Loud gasps]
[A Senator stands up and shouts "Prove it!!"]
Very well! (turns to Mrs. Key who brings Chasity up toward the podium. The lights are dimmed.)
Mrs. Key‑ Are you ready honey?
(Chasity nods her head and focuses. A glow begins to radiate from inside her and then it grows stronger and stronger until she appears to be engulfed in white light like and angel. The audience is quit, in shock. Chase holds the brightness for several more moments before she lessons it and then stops glowing. The lights are put back up.)
Chase‑ (happily shouts into the Microphone) See, I'm a lightning bug!!...
Mrs. Key‑ (leans forward to grab Chase and pull her back) Hush!
Chase‑ Bring them back...Apologize!! They don't like the lies.
(Mr. Key takes over the podium. Chase goes back to her mom sobbing)
Mr. Key‑ Chasity was made a Peace keepers through injections of vitamins that my spouse was taking before and during her pregnancy. We only discovered her to be a Peacekeeper when her powers began to show themselves. If you want the Peacekeepers back, the liars will have to be driven out of the Nations Alliance of Earth. We have the names of some of the culprits. The others still remain hidden.
Floor Spokeswoman- And who are these culprits? Do you have proof of their crimes?
[Sarah Zelmal drops a heavy set of pages on the podium counter.]
Zelmal- We have numerous accounts and documentation of lies. Watch closely the video call received from Dr. Clinton-Diaz only two days ago to FUTURE PEACE.
[The video is aired on a main monitor and relayed to private screens on the tables in front of each delegate. After the feed is over Mr. Key speaks up again.]
Mr. Key- This w as done to my child. If the NAE would secretly continue testing the ‘Jelly formula’ then think of what has been going on.
[Aurora leaps to her feet]
Aurora- We must cleanse the NAE! We do not benefit ourselves or the people we serve with all these secrets and lies.
