Adam Lee Rosol's Adam continues to grow. He was measured at 34 1/2" inches tall, and 32 pounds. Because he still isn't talking, we were referred to Charlotte Speach and Hearing center to get his hearing and speech capacity tested. His hearing checked out OK, but he's behind the curve in speech, and they recommend speech training for him which will start in January. One big event this month is that we switched daycare centers. We went from a nice facitity near our home, to an absolute dream facility that Bank of America sponsors downtown. The new center is fantastic, and Adam is really thriving there. Of course, the big event this month was halloween. Adam dressed up as superman, and he was a really cute superhero. W. Here's some pictures of him during his 21st month " Bye Bye! I'll miss you guys!" This is Adam's daycare class at his old daycare. " Wow! All these bands, balloons, and even Elmo!." The Charlotte public library sponsored a "Novello festival of reading" on October 14th. They had bands, music, food, children's story time, free balloons, and Elmo! Adam kept pointing at the huge Elmo on top of Discovery Place. " How about this one, can we carve this one?" We went to a local farm that grew pumpkins to get our pumpkins for halloween. Here, Adam and his mom are looking at some gourds. " Here's my pumpkin. See you guys, I'm done now. " Adam selected (and carried) this pumpkin at the farm. " These look like good sized pumpkins to carve. Have daddy carry a couple of them home for me. " Still at the farm, they had some HUGE pumpkins there. These guys went up to about 300 pounds. " Goats! I like goats!." Adam thought the best part of getting pumpkins was the petting zoo on the farm. Here, he's feeding the goats a little grass. There were also pigs, a pony, and some sheep to play with.. " Daddy, I'll help you scoop out these nasty pumpkin guts " Adam wanted to help us carve pumpkins, so here we are in the back yard. " What's in there mommy? Are those pumpkin brains?" Daddy finished his carving, now it was time to help mommy carve her pumpkin. " All done!" The finished product. An alien and a goofy grinning pumpkin. " Check out my super tongue!" Adam dressed for halloween. Look at those six-pack abs!. " I'm faster than a speeding bullett, at least when it comes to emptying sippy cups!" A great picture of Adam for halloween. The sippy cup really makes the picture, doesn't it? " Daddy, I worked hard getting candy, and you're sitting here giving away other candy! How dare you!" Two scary trick or treaters sitting on the front porch giving out candy. We never knew Adam like chocolate until this day. Here he has a hershey bar or something jammed into his mouth, probably wrapper and all. " My loot! And don't you be touching it after my bedtime either!" Adam shows off the loot he got trick or treating to a few neighboring houses. He loved halloween.
