Adam Lee Rosol's
Twenty-Second Month
November 13 - December 12 2000

This was a VERY busy month. We took our Christmas pictures at the Our Heritage studio, we had a day of snow (rare in Charlotte), put up our Christmas lights, went to a tree farm to cut down our Christmas tree, and Adam's "big boy" bed was delivered as well. Whew!

The biggest event was Adam's first flight. We flew to vist Grandma & Grandpa Schwartz for Thanksgiving. It will be his last flight for a while, he wasn't exactly a little angel on the plane.

He continues to grow, now weighing in at 33 lbs, 14 ounces.

Here's some pictures of him during his 22nd month

Snow man

" I think I'll just hang out with my cool friends." This is one of the pictures from the Our Heritage photo shoot. Adam and the snowmen! Sounds like a punk band from the 80's.

we are family

" I like dressing like mommy and daddy and getting my picture taken. " This is another picture from the Our Heritage series. We used another from this series on our Christmas cards this year.

sledding

" That was GREAT. Now drag me up the hill and we'll do that again!!!" We don't get much snow in NC, but when we do, we try to take advantage of the backyard sledding. Adam LOVED going up and down the slope with the big boys and girls in the neighborhood.

Uncle Mark, you can read pretty good.

" Uncle Mark, you can read pretty good. " We went to the Schwartz family enclave for Thanksgiving. Here, Uncle Mark is reading a book to Adam.

Thanksgiving

" Mommy, quit trying to squeeze into the picture. I'm the star here! " Thanksgiving dinner. Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatos, and other foods that I can't identify on his bib.

kids

" Cousins are good." Still Thanksgiving, Adam is hanging with his two Schwartz cousins, Garrett and Samantha.

Carving

" Lights!" They were more trouble than they're worth, but our house looked pretty good in the Chrismas lighting this year. By the way, if you think that lights should be hanging from the 2nd floor as well, come on down this november and we'll hold the ladder while YOU put them there!

family of lumberjacks

" Aren't we the family of lumberjacks? " This was at the tree farm where we went to cut down our Christmas tree. How about that stegasaurus hat on Adam?

manly men

" My daddy is so macho. Look at him flexing his massive(?) biceps after cutting down that poor defenseless tree. " Selected a tree, cut it down. Adam supervised while daddy posed for the camera. Don't know about beefcake, this is pretty cheesy to me.

supertongue

" You don't think I'm sleeping in that thing, do you? Yikes!" Adam's new big boy bed. We bought him a bunkbed thinking that it would be good when cousins visit. It takes up just about the whole room, though, and he's not sleeping in it yet.

shy santa

" I heard there was an opening for a shy elf?" Christmas is coming, and Adam really liked wearing the santa hat. He's looking a little shy in this picture.

wrapper

" Mommy, don't worry, I'll help you wrap those presents. " Adam liked to stick around and "help" while we wrapped presents.
