Indiana Jones & the Last Crusade
The Last Crusade, my all time favorite in the Indiana Jones trilogy!! This film introduces Sean Connery as Indy's Dad. The late River Phoenix plays a young Indy in the opening scene (Utah 1912). Marcus Brody and Sallah also return in Last Crusade, along with the much loved Nazis! Michael Byrne plays the blue eyed German officer Vogel (Byrne plays a similar role in Force 10 from Navarone, another one of Ford's movies). This film has lots of laughs as well as action. In Crusade, Indy must find the Holy Grail (the cup of Christ) before the Nazis do, and manage to rescue his father. The Last Crusade is summed up so nicely in the quote from Indy's mouth:
