(3) Using safety measures in handling molten pig lead required in pouring joints. (4) Checking for presence of water to avoid danger when pouring molten lead. (5) Connecting hubless pipe with neoprene sleeve and stainless steel collar. (6) Test waste system for leaks. | 850 |

Special Instructions: Work processes completed in a state or federally recognized apprenticeship program will be accepted upon presentation of proper documentation to the appropriate service school.
A total of 576 hours of related instruction is required in order to complete this program. Related instruction credit may be awarded individuals registered in the trade of Plumber/Pipefitter taken from an accredited institution, providing the courses are similar to the courses taken for a Plumber/Pipefitter program in a community college/vocational school.
