(3) Uses block diagram to isolate malfunctions to a major system. (4) Refers to schematic diagram and isolates malfunction to circuit, stage, and component. D | Troubleshoot and Repair Units Using Hand Tools, Test Equipment, Block and Schematic Diagrams-- (1) Troubleshoots and repairs low and high voltage power supplies. (2) Troubleshoot and repair radar transmitter systems. (3) Troubleshoot and repair radar receivers. (4) Troubleshoot and repair automatic frequency control systems. Special Instructions: Work processes completed in a state or federally recognized apprenticeship program will be accepted upon presentation of proper documentation to the appropriate service school.
A total of 432 hours of related instruction is required in order to complete this program. Related instruction credit may be awarded individuals registered in the trade of Electronic Technician (Radar) taken from an accredited institution, providing the courses are similar to the courses taken for a Electronic Technician (Radar) program in a community college/vocational school.
